5K Run for Recovery - September 17, 2022
Every September, SAMHSA sponsors Recovery Month to increase awareness and understanding of mental and substance use disorders and celebrate recovery. This year, Benton Franklin Recovery Coalition and Oxford House, TriCities, are holding a 5K Run for Recovery along the Columbia River at Wade Park in Pasco, on September 17, 2022. This run is our annual fund-raiser to support the work of our two organizations in advocating for treatment and housing resources for addicted persons, and in educating the public about the disease of addiction. In the last race, held in 2019, our generous supporters raised $18,000 to support these goals in our community. (No races were held in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19).
